Mexico is a true culinary paradise, so much so that since 2010 UNESCO has declared Mexican cuisine part of the world's intangible cultural heritage. It's the country where chocolate and chilies come from, and for that matter, hot ice cream. It's also where corn came from, and where popcorn was consumed in the Aztec Empire (around 5,500 years ago).
We're going to give you a glimpse into the cuisine of this exotic country, taking you on a culinary adventure from its Aztec heritage through Santa Muerte to the white sandy beaches of Acapulco.
